Sophie Trobos is an Austrian violinist and the founder and director of the inn.wien ensemble, as well as part of the "no string quartet". She studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Christian Altenburger and completed an Erasmus exchange at the CNSMD Lyon with Marianne Piketty. Sophie has served as concertmaster with orchestras including the Austrian Jeunesse Orchestra and the Webern Symphony Orchestra. She regularly performs in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, and Italy, and has collaborated in chamber music with artists such as Reinhard Latzko, Christian Altenburger, and Jasminka Stancul. Alongside her performance career, she is involved in artistic management and production, including roles with the Mozartfest Würzburg, the LOISIARTE Festival and the Kufstein Masterclass, which she founded. Sophie is a creative project development resident of this years Verbier Festival. (2025) She is receiving an artistic scholarship by her home country Tirol, to support her career as a musician and entrepreneur. In the upcoming season (25/26), she will make her debuts at Alte Oper Frankfurt and Brucknerhaus Linz as well as coming back to the Wiener Konzerthaus for several performances with the "no string quartet" and other artists, like Anna Mabo, Sigur Ros, a.o. Sophie released her first album "LOST INSIDE" with her inn.wien ensemble and the Jazztrio Drehwerk in September 2024.
